TESTIMONY: Ti-Anna Pena
Before moving to Rhode Island my son and I were part of a church that I had been attending for almost 20 years. We loved it! It was our home! But a few years ago I remember having a restless feeling stirring in my spirit and I cried out to God one day asking, "Is this all there is to life?" Shortly after, through one of my friends, I started meeting people who attend Legacy Church.
She would take us along to birthday parties, cookouts, and church events, and it was there I met what would become my new church family. My son and me both felt a sense of belonging. Everyone was so kind and genuine. Every time I visited Legacy I would be overwhelmed by the presence of God. One Sunday, I made the decision to make Legacy our new church home. I have since been healed from anger and past hurts, and God has restored me and blessed me beyond measure. I can't imagine life without all the new friends I have made through the "Crew" small groups and while serving in Legacy Kids. We get together, study God's word, talk about life, pray for each other and of course eat! I love my new church!
As a church we do not believe in doing life alone. We want to pray with you.
Every time I visited Legacy I would be overwhelmed by the presence of God…
