TESTIMONY: Aubrey Miller

In fourth grade I was diagnosed with ADD & Dyslexia. It left me feeling lost and alone. In school I struggled with my disability along with anxiety, depression and anger. I felt no one could understand the way I was feeling. That I was a failure because I was not like everyone else, constantly comparing myself to others.

I grew up in Church and loved God and from a young age I always knew God was there, but the older I got the farther He seemed to be. When I was 18 I found Legacy Church. I started going to consistently, joined a team and a crew. Then in 2015 I attended Awakening Leadership Center where God started breaking chains off of me I had been carrying my entire life. God’s love for me changed the way I looked at myself. I realized He created me exactly how He wanted me to be!

I am now free from self hate, anger, anxiety and depression. Not by my power, but by His. I know God loves me and is always there for me. His spirit walks with me everywhere I go. I am so thankful for my Church and for God’s grace, forgiveness and overwhelming love.
