TESTIMONY: Ashley Colletta

God saved my life. Before coming to Legacy Church, my world was consumed by depression. I would go to bed at night hoping I wouldn't wake up and would wake up in the morning disappointed to still be alive. When I was diagnosed with manic depression, PTSD, and bipolar disorder; it was like satan had handed me a death sentence. For many years my daughter was enough to keep me going but in 2014 my depression was greater than the both of us.

One morning I woke up determined to get to church. I knew that if God wasn't going to save me, no one or any thing would. I was desperate! I walked into Legacy Church on January 4th, 2015 and have not missed a Sunday since. I went from being broken and wanting to die, to renewed and eager to live for Christ. A few weeks ago I asked God how he did it, how did he save my life? He told me it was my worship that saved me. How could I not serve a God who saved my life in exchange for His glory? All along my worship was about Him, but all along God was reciprocating His love to me. We serve a good God! A year later, I am more in love with Jesus than ever before. I thank Him every day for saving my life but above all for giving my daughter her mom back. Lieani and I are in this together. We love God, His church, and our Legacy family.
