TESTIMONY: Junior Delgado
I guess you could say I was living in “insanity”, repeating the same actions expecting different results. I was addicted, angry, hopeless and broken. With my 4th child being born, I decided even though I felt like this was the life I was meant to live, my wife and my children needed more from me. After years of trying it my way, I surrendered my life to God and trusted He had brought me to Legacy Church.
I committed to attending church every Sunday, a "Crew" group of guys during the week and serving in the church. As a man, there has been something about being around other men that take God seriously that is just contagious. The church has been there for my family in good times and bad, and has shown us so much love and support through it all. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence that I’m no longer addicted, I’m no longer broken and hopeless, I’m not angry all the time, I can provide for my family better than ever and my wife and children actually enjoy being around me (most of the time). I know my healing and change started with the decision to commit myself to God and to a caring church. I thank God for his grace and mercy.
As a church we do not believe in doing life alone. We want to pray with you.
Growing up in Providence my mom raised 4 girls on her own. As a kid I ran away and looked for an outlet through drugs and broken relationships…
