LeadTip #11 Don't give up

Galatians 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Breakthrough in life, whether it be in finances, relationships, business, health, losing weight, answer to prayer, etc., requires perseverance, and an overcoming attitude of faith.

Needing immediate gratification is a carnal reflex and does not take into account the timing of God, His will, warfare -spiritual resistance and the Biblical principle of faith without works is dead. Work means pressing, staying the course, fasting and praying, being willing to wait and work harder.

The Bible says do not become weary in doing good. Simply put, do not stop believing and working for what you believe God has for you. This takes perseverance.

Perseverance is defined as “steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement.” When we continue to have faith and not give up on a Biblical promise, a desire of our heart, a life goal, a good work, the result will be breakthrough, achievement, and answered prayer. It may not always be in your time frame or how you expect things to happen, but the Bible says, “for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

So don’t give up!
