Testimony: Chris Colletta

Prayer provokes God to perform miracles. I know because my medical records say so. In high school the devil took me away from my family and I joined a gang. One night my friend and I were assaulted by 40 to 50 rival gang members. They beat us with bats, pipes, and to finish killing us they smashed our heads with cinder blocks. My friend was pronounced dead on arrival. When I arrived at the hospital, doctors told my parents I had 10 minutes to live. At that moment my parents had a choice to make; be angry OR forgive. They chose to forgive and believe.

Everyday my parents prayed relentlessly for my life with people from many different churches joining in . Every morning they would ask the doctors what they needed to pray for specifically, and would then pray for just that. God would heal exactly what they had prayed for. God hears our prayers, but more importantly he responds to them. God asked my parents, "Which report will you believe, the medical reports or the report of the Lord?" Again, my parents chose to believe. The doctors told them I would be a vegetable for the rest of my life, and I would never walk again or live a "normal" life. Many years later I am completely healed. I've gone on to further my education, I hold a full time physically strenuous job, and I serve in the Lord's house at Legacy Church. Everyday is another day I get to honor God for making me his miracle and answering my parent's prayers.
