TESTIMONY: Melissa Dipietro

God is awesome! 

My daughter has been working so hard to find a college to attend. She has been on the fence about her faith in recent years. She loves school and has always had amazing grades. She won a scholarship for $25,000 to be dispersed over a four-year period. The process was a lot harder than she imagined. As she got denied, wait-listed, and very discouraged, my heart broke. I kept praying. 

She was eventually accepted to multiple schools. One she really liked had a program that ranked 9th in the nation. The tuition would be $30,000 after her scholarship was applied. She was so concerned about the debt. She contacted the school to see if they would match another offer at half the cost. She said, “Mom, I prayed”. Her salvation means more to me than anything. I told her, “Keep knocking. I will pray for you”.  So we both pounded on the doors of school and Heaven. 

Two days later I joined in on a Wednesday night prayer service at Legacy Church with Pastor Ron and my church family. We prayed the prayer of Jabez. We prayed for favor over our finances and for protection. On the third day, my daughter called me in the evening. 

“Mom, they dropped the tuition cost”! I freaked out. 

I asked her, “To what?!” 

She responded, “$5,000 for the first 3 semester's, and the fourth one’s free”.

I lost it! That is a total of $105,000 dollars off her tuition. Awe is an understatement. Faithful is an understatement. This was a complete mountain-moving miracle. I am amazed by the fact that the Lord would do that to show His love toward her -- toward our family. I adore you, Jesus! Praise the Lord, all my soul! I am so incredibly thankful! To all of you at Legacy Church: I love you!
